Gorse Bashing

This is one of our most popular work parties that might, the weather gods permitting, allow us to have a bonfire.

Today we are building on our past work to manage the gorse covering the important grasslands towards the western end of the dunes, and starting up the programme to manage the blocks on a 10 year rotation.

 Please wear boots, spare loppers always welcome, we have gloves and specs.

 Meet at the FoPB hut at 10:30 hrs

 If it does look like bonfire and picnic weather- bring a foil wrapped spud and stay a bit longer.
